Adipex-P.
Adipex (phentermine) is a prescription drug that has been designed for the needs of people desperate to lose weight and get rid of their obesity, which may be a risk factor for developing a number of other serious health problems. Adipex is supposed to be taken for a period of several months and it's very important that you carry on with your treatment in order to maintain the progress achieved. If you stop taking Adipex before it's time you may regain weight. Adipex is safe for most patients, except for the ones with any contraindications. For instance, you aren't supposed to be taking Adipex if you have a history of an allergic reaction to phentermine, or if you have recently taken a MAO inhibitor (14 days are supposed to pass since that moment). Being pregnant will also most probably prevent you from safely taking this medicine, as Adipex has been reported to cause harm to an unborn baby. Always make sure you talk to your health care provider before taking Adipex if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. An alternative may need to be found, or, in case the benefits of the treatment outweigh potential risks to the baby, your doctor will monitor your condition carefully to make sure everything is going as planned and the baby is unharmed.
